Heidi Orfilda De La Paz Miranda

Heidi Orfilda De La Paz Miranda has expertise in international, environmental, trade and economic law. Her current interests are in the regulation of the energetic sector, foreign investment international law as well as studies of conflict and peace.

During her stay at UC MEXUS she will conduct a study of U.S. law, deepening her understanding of the investment arbitration tribunal on environmental issues. Through her work she hopes to develop a body of work that can inform future policy between the U.S. and Mexico.
